
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is advising residents of Wadena of the temporary disruption to emergency services at the Wadena Hospital.
The News is investigating as to why these by-passes are happening. To our knowledge Wadena has a full compliment of doctors. We are also asking why the news release was received a day after the effective date of the by-pass. So far the News has received no response from the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Tuesday, December 8 at 1:30 p.m. to Thursday, December 10 at 8 a.m.
During this time, emergency services will not be available at the facility. Lab/x-ray services are NOT affected by this disruption.
In the event of an emergency call 9-1-1 and an ambulance will be dispatched to provide assistance. Non-urgent health related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine 811, by dialling 8-1-1.
Emergency services are available at Kelvington Hospital and Wynyard Hospital.
