Ever wonder who puts your newspaper together?
Rita Becker fits everything onto the pages. A former military airplane mechanic, she brings attention to detail and a determination to get the job done. She also takes our customers’ printing projects like posters, tickets, invoices and brochures, and cranks out a finished product.
Margaret Bussiere is the St. Front news correspondent.
Pat Casement reports on various events around the district, particularly the amateur theatre scene.
Lee Cooper is a former schoolteacher whose creative inspiration is behind our ads and funeral brochures.
Ellie Farkas writes up the news from Quill Lake.
Andy Labdon joined the fray in January 2016 and is covering local stories.
Dianne LaRoque is the news correspondent for Hendon.
June Prevost sends in the Archerwill activity report.
Ragnar Staf is our roving reporter from Rose Valley.
Charlene Wirtz is everywhere, unobtrusively snapping photos. When she’s not writing up the stories that go with them, she’s a therapist at a healing clinic and has her black belt in karate.
Alison Squires is the owner and publisher of Wadena News. She does a good many of the above jobs and more. None of us can keep up with her.
