The fire destroyed a farmhouse, storage shed, several vehicles, farm equipment and machinery. RCMP believe it was deliberately started by an ignition source placed in vehicles on the property and it spread, due to dry conditions, to the buildings.

Recently there have been a number of grass fires around the Wadena, Kuroki and Margo area that, according to the RCMP, “have been intentionally started.”

RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible. If you have any information, please call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), through Sask mobility at *8477, text TIP206 plus your message to CRIMES (274637), or submit a tip online at www.crimestoppers.com.
